TEAM PURPOSE

The LifeSpringsUSA Intercessor Prayer Counselor Ministry Teams exist to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the Church for the unity and maturity of believers.

We are open and responsive to the supernatural working of the Holy Spirit. Our desire is that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released the benefit of His people by breaking down spiritual strongholds, pulling up the roots of physical (and emotional) illness and disease.

STRATEGY

We will intercede daily for:        

        Our Church Leadership

        Our Church Members

        Area Churches

        Renewal and healing

        Salvation of individuals

        City, State and Federal Leaders

        We will provide deliverance and healing prayer for those who request it.

EXPECTATIONS

        Each Intercessor will be authorized by, and accountable to, church leadership.

        Intercessors will be aware of, and adhere to, specific ministry guidelines.

        Intercessors will be given to a lifestyle of personal holiness, prayer and fasting.

        Intercessors will seek to be open and responsive to the Holy Spirit in prayer.

        Intercessors will be available to pray at the end of services on a rotating basis.

        Intercessors will be available to pray anytime when asked by a church member while on a church campus.

        Intercessors will have a commitment to participate in appropriate training.

        The team will have access to the leadership for advice, guidance, support and encouragement.

        Training will be provided as available and appropriate.

        The leadership understanda that personal circumstances change and members may desire or need to step down.

Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and been baptized, and being in agreement with the Life SpringsUSA Statement of Belief, Mission, Vision, Purpose, Passion and structure, I now feel led by Holy Spirit to unite with 

Life SpringsUSA as an Intercessor for my church. In doing so I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

1. I WILL PROTECT THE UNITY OF MY CHURCH

        ...By acting in love toward other members

        ...By refusing to gossip

        ...By following the leaders

2. I WILL SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MY CHURCH

        ...By inviting the unchurched to attend

        ...By warmly welcoming those who visit

3. I WILL SERVE THE MINISTRY OF MY CHURCH

        ...By discovering my gifts and talents

        ...By being equipped to serve by my pastors

        ...By developing a servant's heart

4. I WILL SUPPORT THE TESTIMONY OF MY CHURCH

"Each one of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it for the offering. " 1 Cor.16:2

"A tenth of all your produce is the Lord's, and it is holy." Lev. 27:30

  1.Thou shalt not visit the opposite sex alone at home.

  2.Thou shalt not counsel the opposite sex alone in the office.

  3.Thou shalt not counsel the opposite sex more than once without the other person's mate. Refer them.

  4.Thou shalt not go to lunch alone with the opposite sex.

  5.Thou shalt not kiss an attendee of the opposite sex or show affection that could be questioned.

  6.Thou shalt not discuss detailed sexual problems with the opposite sex in counseling. Refer them.

  7.Thou shalt not discuss your marriage problems with an attendee of the opposite sex.

  8.Thou shalt be careful in answering cards and letters from the opposite sex.

  9.Thou shalt make your secretary your protective ally.

10.Thou shalt pray for the integrity of other staff members.
