Forgiveness is the foundation for ALL spiritual, emotional, and physical healing. Unpleasant or traumatic life experiences, conflicts with loved ones, feelings of guilt, fear, and resentment, self-esteem issues, poor thoughts and attitudes can radically affect one's health without even being aware of it because it may be held captive in the subconscious. Even a person's lifestyle and diet can have negative effects as well. Most importantly, a lack of knowledge and understanding of who God is, and what every individual on this planet means to Him, can overshadow and affect virtually every single detail of one's life.
If conflicts and problems are not addressed at the roots in both the conscious and subconscious, good health, if ever achieved, will only be at best an illusion and a short-lived experience. Dealing with symptoms is of little help. Healing will come after uncovering the causes!
Every human being has endured personal traumas that have challenged their ability to forgive. The deep hurts that have occurred during this life's journey that were never deserved, tend to remain hidden within, often unhealed, and can leave a person emotionally ill, feeling empty and incomplete. The abusive father, the alcoholic mother who neglected her children, or the spouse who walked out on a relationship have left many reeling with emotions or even physical scars that have left hideous wounds deep in the subconscious.
Sadly, it is usually those closest - whether a family member or friend - who have often been the ones to say or do something that has caused great hurt and pain. You may have encountered prejudice or discrimination because of your skin color, your ethic background, or just because of your personal beliefs.
Maybe there was a teacher who embarrassed you as a child before your classmates, or others who made fun because you were too fat, too skinny, too tall, or too short. Worse still, just when you believed that by belonging to a church family you were shielded from the pains of the world, you became a victim of vicious gossip and the betrayal of a friend.
We have all been disappointed, deceived, rejected, ridiculed, and abused. It could have happened just moments ago or many years past. If you desire to experience life to its fullest, then those wounds need to be healed and you must learn to forgive those who are guilty of hurting you. Before you can begin Living Forgiven you must first learn how to love and forgive just as your heavenly Father loves and forgives you. Forgiveness must flow from every member of the human family. And when you reach out with forgiveness from your heart, you are reaching out with the heart of God.
We are committed to actively fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission through evangelism, intercessory prayer, Bible teaching and training. We offer seminars and group training classes in order to equip churches, ministries, organizations and individuals so that all members of the Body of Christ across the earth are Living Forgiven and prospering spiritually, emotionally, and physically in health. We call this study of the Bible Homotrophic Theology (See below). We endeavor to hold true to the Bible as the basis of all that we teach.
Our doctrine is open and receptive to the active work of the Holy Spirit so that a person’s needs are met by God's supernatural power. Our desire is that God's love, guidance, and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people by breaking down spiritual strongholds and pulling out the roots of spiritual, physical, emotional illness and disease.
We believe prayer is an interactive communication with God. It is our desire to share with others how to daily express one’s heart to Him and to hear His voice. It is our hope and prayer that God will more fully reveal Himself to every person we come in contact with and that they will come to experience what it means to have a personal and intimate relationship with the Creator of the Universe. In Jesus, who is love incarnate, there is found forgiveness and healing, laughter and joy, meaning and hope. Every person on this planet matters to Him and they matter to
". . . to prepare God s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up" . .'until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Eph 4:12-13 NIV)
Throughout Christianity the subject of Divine Healing seems to polarize people more than any other. On one extreme there are those who believe supernatural healing disappeared with the last of the twelve Apostles. On the other extreme there are those who believe God will heal all sickness and disease through faith because it is absolutely guaranteed through the shedding of Jesus' blood on the Cross. Still others believe God heals through medications and the training He has given to medical professionals.
Speaking from decades of personal experience, when debilitating sickness and disease strike a family, it causes great pain and anguish. The uncertainty of the future can be very frightening. The worst fears can suddenly come to the surface and block the ability to function normally.
People immediately wonder why this is happening to them and look for those things they may have done to cause it. They think, "Was it a sin I committed against God or someone else that caused this?" Or they say, "Maybe it’s my lack of faith?" So they go out and repent of everything they can think of, cast out legions of demons, and start "naming and claiming" their healing. All of this can cause people to blame themselves and feel even more guilty than they were before.
Because sin entered into the world, bad things now happen to good people whether they caused it or not. ALL sickness and disease, whether emotional, physical, or spiritual, is part of the fallen nature of man and affects Christians and non-Christians alike. No one is immune to sickness, nor the ultimate disease, death.
The problem in the modern church has been that healing prayer ministry has become allopathic in its approach and focused on treating the symptom rather than the root cause just as the Medical profession has done for centuries caring for patients. More often than not, we have seen people genuinely healed only to learn that the sickness or disease later returned. Healing ministry has become spiritual weed whacking, cutting at the stem of the weed rather than pulling out the root.
When the Weed Whacker garden tool was invented it quickly replaced old fashioned digging and pulling up the weeds by hand because it was fast and easy. It neatly trims and manicures the unwanted weed giving the appearance that all is well, but give the ground a little water and up come the weeds and off goes the Weed Whacker again.
Addressing what caused the weed to take hold in the first place is the secret to Diving Healing. In order for weeds to be removed once and for all the ground has to be tilled and softened by water. So also the flesh has to be tilled with repentance and watered with the Word.
Cutting just the stem of the weed is much easier because it doesn't require the hard work of intercession, the tilling of humility and the diligent study of, and obedience to, God's Word. If the root has not been pulled and rain begins to fall from the storms of life, the weeds of doubt, fear, worry, unbelief, anger, and bitterness will grow right back again because the root cause was never exposed and pulled out at its core.
Divine Health is not just the absence of disease but also the optimizing of our daily living potential. Throughout the years we have seen God touch people with incredibly amazing physical healing. We know beyond a shadow of doubt that He heals today and will heal tomorrow. His promises have never ceased.
Living in Divine Health is rooted in love because God is love! God's character and nature is to heal His people. He said, "I am the Lord, who heals you" (Ex 15:26). He did this through the shed blood of Jesus (See Isa. 53).
God's prescription for walking in Divine Health is found in the Bible. We call this study of Scripture Homotrophic Theology. Just as proper nutrition is contingent upon eating a healthy diet and taking vitamins and minerals daily, good spiritual nutrition is based upon reading the Bible and following God's plan daily. The word 'homo' relates to the human species and 'trophic' relates to nutrition. The biblical Homotrophic approach is learning to apply God's Word as nutrition spiritually, emotionally and physically. One doesn't ask for healing - they appropriate the truth of God's Word!
Divine Health doesn't come from without, it comes from within. It is a balance between the spiritual, emotional, and physical and is a promise of God because He has given us His Homotrophic prescription for walking in Divine Health.
The Bible contains almost 9,000 promises. There are nearly 7,500 promises from God to people (about 85 percent of all the Bible's promises!) Because of God's great love, the Christian will never face any life-situation for which He has not supplied specific promises that include mercy and grace to help in time of fear and uncertainty. His great promise in times of sickness and disease, trial and testing, is that He "will never leave you or forsake you" (Josh 1:5). Christians must learn to cast all their fears upon God because He "cares for you" (1 Pet 5: 7).
